Story

Meadowsweet is a Michelin-starred restaurant in Williamsburg that opened in the summer of 2014 by husband and wife team Polo Dobkin and Stephanie Lempert. At Meadowsweet, chef Dobkin showcases a thoughtful, modern American menu in the bright and airy space. Lempert oversees the wine list and seasonal cocktail program, which draws from the restaurant¹s lush indoor mezzanine herb garden.

Absolutely delicious. Great prices with good portions. We had the tasting menu and paired it with the wine tasting option. We were on our honeymoon and this was one of the highlights of our trip. They were very nice and had great service. We will absolutely come back here the next time we are in New York.

They have an easy going personality here. Everyone is laid back and they ask for everything. When would you like to have the different portions of your meal serve. Each item looks hand picked. Each item was delicious. It has to, its Michelin rated too! Sat at the bar with my 2 friends and we went town with the meal. We had drinks, burrata, Spanish octopus, roasted oyster which were a pleasant surprise. We also had the foie grass which was super creamy and went well with the crispy bread served. We finally shared the salmon entree which we ordered med rate, and it was perfect in addition to the large grilled asparagus. This was definitely a place for dinner!

Good cuisine but not worthy of a Michelin star (a bit too salty). The service is lacking. Pouring wine on the table and note cleaning it, cleaning the table at the end of the meal but leaving crumbs on it. I would recommend it to people looking for good american food but i wonder how Michelin hands out their stars...

Got seated quickly, service was off to a great start...but then it went downhill from there. After our appetizers, it took 35 mins for the rest of the meal to show up. I asked for a refill on my drink, never got it. Had an allergic reaction to one of the foods...they didn't reduce the bill or really compensate for anything. It then took another 20 mins for the bill to arrive. If you don't mind waiting...this is the place for you :)

Delicious food, we got a selection of starters and mains to share and they were all great. Good options for pescetarians and vegetarians, very tasty cocktails, really friendly and helpful staff, I highly recommend.
