I personally dont have an experience with this Police Department. I did read today about an incide t i volving a 2013 case of some guy who killed his wife then called 911. I read detailed statements of the officers involved. As I read them, my hands started sweating. Being a cop with a emminent danger to your life or those of your collegues is scarey. 15 feet isnt a lot of time to try to decide if the guy running towards you is going to try to stab you or not. You just have to do at that point because all other efforts failed, to do what you are trained to do. Then you live with the aftermath of taking a life. My hats are off to you men and women. You put your lives on the line every day for the community. Thank you so much for your service!

Called police for suspicion activities, however lady from police station answered "we currently out of police". Don't feel protected at all.

Just you just love it when you call the non emergency line to report an open and removed drain cover on the road on Fair Oaks to be given a short "hello Sunnyvale police" twice before they hang up and transfer you to the answering machine. Tax payers money well spent!
