Story

This is the official Facebook page of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS). This site is intended to serve as a means of communication between the public and DPS. The purpose of this page is to communicate public safety information in an effort to inform residents, and all interested in DPS about the latest news, activities, services and educational programs we have to offer.

This page is monitored and managed by members of the Department’s Social Media Team and Office of Emergency Services Unit. Comments posted to this site will be monitored during regular business hours of the City of Sunnyvale (“City”).

Before posting on this page, please review these terms:

• A posting on this page constitutes acceptance of these terms.
• Do not use this page to report a crime.
• Posting information related to a crime on this page, is not deemed anonymous. You may be contacted by a Public Safety Employee if you are a witness to a crime.
• “Liking” between the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety and a citizen does not indicate endorsement of that person’s actions or comments.
• This site shall not contain any of the following, and DPS reserves the right to remove comments containing any of the following elements as soon as possible:
