A real super low budget super market. Produce is often very ripe or mature, ready to eat immediately at highly discounted prices! A lot of restaurants will pick up produce here as it is ready to eat that day. Sunrise Brand Tofu is often available at discounted prices for misshppened product. Different deals each day you shop!

I wish there were more markets like this in town. No, it's not pristine, but the vegetables are fresh, and you can walk home with two grocery bags full of excellent produce for under $20. Great buys are tomatoes when in season, organic vegetables as available, mangoes when available.

The cheapest produce market in all of the lower mainland. Be aware as lots of produce can be bruised but there are wonderful prices in this Chinese market and you can buy even cases of any the produce being sold there. Also is a good grocer with lots of natural and organic foods and a butcher as well. You can walk out with 40lbs of produce for 10-15$ Sure it's in a slummy area of Vancouver but it's worth a trip to just see those dollar bags and cheap prices. It can be very busy at peak times during the day! Sometimes I've had to wait 15minutes for a basket!

Historic Sunrise Market is my go-to for all things fresh and local. No frills shopping experience with excellent prices, I can be found here shopping for my veggies and other items at least 3 times a week.

It's a great place to get food for a reasonable price. You get many brands, excellent products, vegetables, meat, dairy, canned stuff, you name it. The only thing is it's usually too crowded and aisles are kind of narrow.
