I love this place! I hiked (if you can call a stroll down a paved road near the river "hiking") the mile up from a nearby park and enjoyed the seclusion of the tire swing with some tunes. Most of the neighborhood kids stick to the playgrounds you get to by car, so it's a great way to enjoy a playground as a 20+ year old without taking equipment from children! If you don't want to hike: you can access the trail from numerous parking lots up the path such as the Oxford hotel. A parking lot marked "Frederick's parking" across from the target and the dollar tree on the other side of the median was the closest!

No parking! Driving for hours in the car. Looking for a park for the kids. We see photos of this playground. Great but the nearest parking is a mile away.... by the other park. WTF. Who designed and paid for a playground with no parking.
