Went for the Low country Boil. I planned part of my visit from Illinois around it and drove my poor elderly parents 2+ hours to get it. After the trek down the hill from the parking lot and being seated, I asked the waitress if this was the place that had the Low Country Boil? It wasn't on the menu. she said it was, but they stopped serving it, then backtracked that they don't have it every Friday. I said, well your website said it was every Friday a few minutes ago from the Basecamp when the guy showed me how to get down here (and still does today). 
You didn't have it.
So we ate something else.
And then another waitress brought out 2 plates of Low Country Boil to another table.

I've come here a few times and ordered sweet tea and the tea is almost never sweet which I absolutely hate and it doesn't even taste good why even have it on the menu? But this time I came here was totally different from the other times, I ordered Pork tips right and I get down to my last few Pork tips and as I was chewing on one I started to notice this bland kind of gasoline taste coming from it almost and I thought " Oh it's just my imagination or something" but then as I chewed on and on it kept getting worse and worse and it got to the point that I gagged it out of my mouth and had to mouthwash my sweet/unsweet tea to try and get the taste out of my mouth it was awful more then likely the meat was probably left out to long or starting growing something, but besides that the hamburgers are pretty good here but that's about all I would come here for definitely not getting rob tips again.

Hard to find the entrance. Beach is not yet groomed for summer and there are deep ruts from rain runoff. The band was good and made for a festive atmosphere. More chairs needed. Food in poolside bar and restaurant was quite good. Our table had kale salad, chicken wings, hush puppies and corn pups. Everything was hot and fresh.  It's unclear what amenities are available with entrance to sunset cove. It needs to be clearly identified. Overall favorable.

I was here for a boat ride.  The place appears to be unlike any other.  From what i could see, the grounds are beautiful during the day and evening.  When we were leaving after the boat ride ended, the water park rides were still open and lit up for the night.  There's a man made beach where some people were watching a movie on the big screen outside. We did not get a chance to experience any of the amenities of Lake Lanier, but I  intend on going back to do just that.

Nice place to hang out, great atmosphere. Nice view of lake, beach and boats. Kids can play while adults enjoy relaxing. Love sunset cove in the evening.
