My family first went into Sunset Cyclery June 2017 to look at good bikes for my husband and I. The owner Tim is amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable and has no problem telling you the truth when it comes to bikes and the workings of them (Like NOT to bleed your own hydraulic breaks as its very different from car breaks, lol) Roman was our sales person and he was sow knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all the different bikes to us and helped us find what we wanted and even helped us stay within our price range we were looking at. They have an amazing Layaway program if you can not get your bike the day you go in but have your heart set on one. They are not pushy at all! Its a breath of fresh air in comparison to some other buying experiences. We finally got to pick up our bikes yesterday and we could not be happier. They helped us get them all set up and ready to go, made sure everything was as it should be before helping us load them into the van. Roman made sure we had the right fitting helmets and did not try to over sell on anything else. All in all this place is the BEST place to get a good quality bike that will last you a long long time. Can not beat the service these guys give. They love their jobs and their bikes and it shows in all they do.

Nice inventory but staff on Sunday I was there was too busy visiting to check me out of the roughly $200 worth of merchandise I brought to the counter to buy. I waited for almost 15 minutes, with no other customers ahead of me. I put the stuff back in the racks and left.

I live in Florida. I called to buy the Specialized HotRock bike for my niece back in March. They were very nice & made the process simple. My brother in law picked up the bike. We were talking about training wheels, but the shop said they would drop the seat & have her train using it as a balance bike. Today, I tried getting the pedals off, so we could use it as a balance bike. I had trouble getting the pedals off. When I called the manager was nice to enough to explain how to ride the bike while keeping the pedals on. However, when I tried to speak or explain something, he would talk over me & not let me say a word. I tried to tell him that the shop dropped the seat & told us to use it as a balance bike. He said no one here would ever have told you that & that I must have the wrong shop, then he hung up on me. I called the same shop & number on the receipt from the bike we bought it. I started off thinking this was a great bike shop until the rude phone conversation.

Tim and Ed are always helpful and knowledgeable and have been since the day I first came in to buy a bike. I recently had some mechanical problems with my bike right before a big charity ride and they made the time to help me get the bike back in shape on short notice!
