I have had a number of experiences with Big Shark staff and consistently find them very kind, informative, and efficient.  The store is clean,  well-stocked, and brightly lit. Staff quickly work to solve my problems and are very generous- making repairs, ordering items, or taking time to answer all of my in-depth questions. In addition to being a great big store, Big Shark is also the backbone of the local race scene. I highly recommend Big Shark stores and events.

Living on it's reputation maybe?...We have bought several bikes here, but something seems to have gone to their heads over the past few years. The staff has an attitude that they didn't used to have. Someone recommended Billy Goat Bikes on Manchester to me and the experience there has been so much better: We bought a bike there recently and have had a bike serviced. They couldn't be nicer or more helpful.

I love this store and selection. The owner Mike is awesome. I moved to StL in 2013 and had my 1992 Trek rebuilt with all new components and wheels. This was my high school bike I bicycled across North America (US, Canada, Alaska) with and all up and down the East Coast, tons of sentimental value  to me. They did excellent work and a great price. Mike asked me what I wanted to do with the bike and picked out the best components for me. I’ve put a couple thousand miles on the bike on trails around StL since then. I bought my wife’s hybrid bike from the Chesterfield store and she loved the service. I was in the market for a titanium bike recently and Mike was really helpful again. I ended up getting one online that was not very expensive, but I’m getting the tune up and aftermarket parts from Big Shark and will upgrade the wheels and saddle there this spring.  They are such a friendly shop, I like just stopping in there when I have some free time and talking to the clerks.  And i always buy something when I do...

Among the best bicycle shops in the US. Great mechanics, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and a wide selection at three locations. Mike Weiss, the owner, is dedicated to providing great service and outstanding products at a fair price.
