Unbeatable location overseeing the city, fantastic view of sunset. We got a patio table and it was a perfect night for outdoor dinner. Services is phenomenal, from accommodate our request changing table to attentive services. We are very happy with all our dinners, steak, duck and tuna are all delicious. Two thumbs up to our server Mike, friendly and professional, the best service we got from Moab trip.

My family of 7 ate here on Thursday night and the dinner service was very good and the waiter (Wendell) was exceptional. The views are incredible. The owner/manager (John) and waiter (Wendell) went above and beyond to give an impromptu tour of the notable local historic items on display in the restaurant. My mother was celebrating her 90th birthday here and it was one she won't forget. 
Definitely worth eating here.

Drive up and parking a little unique, but not a big deal. It's Moab.

- Prompt seating.
- Friendly service.
- Nice view. Took some nice pictures.
- Interesting history about restaurant.
- Good salad, but nothing special.
- Steaks were all undercooked by one category (Medium = Medium Rare)
Vegetables were fresh, but not seasoned to impress). 
- The souffle was hot and yummy. 

However, it's just okay food with okay presentation, but priced to be a bit more.

After 2 really horrible meals in Moab, we decided to drive up the hill to give the Sunset Grill a chance. We were not disappointed at all. I slipped and fell going down the stairs. They brought me an ice pack and were concerned for sure. I had the Prime Rib for $29. I found that reasonable. If you have ordered Prime Rib elsewhere, it's usually $35. or more. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Idaho Trout, and being from Idaho, we know Trout. He said it was delicious. Our server, Linda was sweet and did an amazing job. Those servers carried huge trays of food down the stairs, and that has to be difficult, hell I couldn't even walk down them. :) I recommend this place for sure.

Went for our wedding anniversary, spent over $80 on horrible food. We got the steak and bacon with potatoes I believe that was $35 dish the steak was tasteless and just threw a steamed potatoes with nothing on it and also just threw unions, carrots, squash, and others things just to fill up the plate. Also got the chicken marinara “special” sauce. The noodle were soggy and just threw sauce and chicken. We were super upset the fact that we paid for trashy food for the prize it doesn’t deserve. The only thing that was good was the bread and the view. I wish we could have our money back. Please save yourselves the trouble. I’m so surprised people are saying it was good. Maybe it was a bad night, too bad there wasn’t a discount since the food and service lacked.
