My first experience with the Sunshine Lamp Trolley and it was wonderful. I heard a few people complain about waiting but what I found was that each time a handicap person needs to load with a wheelchair or power chair, the driver has to not only stop, disembark, lower the ramp and see the person is secure. All of that impacts timing but I found the courtesy of the staff and the passengers showed that this is a community of its own. Overall a great experience and will happily use the system again!

I ABSOLUTELY HATE TYE TROLLEY ITS ALWAYS LATE AND THEY ONLY HAVE A RED GREEN AND BLUE ROUTE .. THEY NEED TO EXOAND GET MORE BUSSES GET MORE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK MAKE THE TROLLEY TIMES LONGER THAN WHAT THEY NORMALLY RUN.. AND I REALLY HATE THAT IF THE TROLLEY IS RUNNING LATE AND ITS ALMOST TIME FOR THEM TO GET OFF TYE PASSENGERS ARE JUST STUCK AT WHATEVER STOP THEY LET YOU OFF ON..ITS RIDICULOUS

It's great that Joplin has public transportation like this. Hopefully it can expand and continue to serve the area for years to come.

They provide a very beneficial service at a reasonable cost, especially if you are on reduced fair. However, they are often not on time and can have confusing changes; The brochures and stops don't all match up. They're a little behind the times and likely poorly funded. 19th & Main's stop is blocked off by roadwork currently, but there is nothing to indicate that or where they are stopping. I went to the stop at 15th & Main, which had a sign posted that said it was temporarily closed and to use 14th & Main. I waited at 14th & Main, the trolley showed up about 10~ minutes late. I held out my arm. The driver passed me by and stopped at 15th & Main. Of course, they left before I could cross the two streets to get back there. I ripped down the sign and walked another hour with chronic nerve pain in the bitter cold. *sigh*
