The working condition of this environment is terrible. There is no respect given to behavioral health technicians whatsoever. The multi-layer and hierarchical structure of this place makes communication not lateral, but impossible. The regional HR manager is at this site also, and she is a nutcase. The new clinical director is also dreadful. Both make life more difficult and unpleasant. Having or trying to develop a career at this facility is unfeasible. This place will always side with the sick, mentally ill patients and not take into consideration what a mentally healthy employee has to say. I have witnessed innocent employees get fired, and this company will try its hardest to not pay out of it's pocket for unemployment insurance benefits.

I went here two years ago, and had an awesome experience! Caring staff and counselors, amazing food, and had a lot of fun along with gaining knowledge! The best treatment facility ive been to out of the ten i have gone to in the past. Have had an amazing experience with recovery afterwards as well, THANK YOU DESERT PALMS!!

Techs were great luved they had history to relate , therapist was more systematic than individual which upset me , everyone is different and was reading print outs from 2 weeks b4 because 2 weeks of patients have left ?? What ???? Was no individual counseling getting to know what made u get there and what u made u click , sad , just a number and another insurance claim ! Would not go back !!! Techs were great , food blah, sell u on pool sad
