My girlfriend and I chose this hotel because of the price and because they let us stay despite neither of us being 21. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Surprisingly the room had a 50" TV in it which is the biggest tv I've ever had in a hotel room. The bed was comfy and had a very nice picture of St Louis from the riverfront as the headboard. Air conditioning worked well and kept our room cool throughout the night and morning before we left. If you are planning on staying here ask for room 226! I highly doubt every room is as nice as this one. My only complaint is the room smelled kinda old (but didn't look old) and 2 of the 4 lights didn't work

Do you like weirdly sticky floors that have carpet? Do you love weird stuff growing in the bathroom? BAM this place is for you!!! The "breakfast " is totally free and so exciting because you have no idea what decade the doughnuts are from! Its an exciting mystery every morning how they got an "a" from the health dept! Was it bribes? I don't know and ergo, mystery!!! My favorite part was how they graciously gave themselves a copy of my credit card but (sad face) they didn't mention they were keeping it till my cc company called about weird charges! I forgot the BEST Mystery OF ALL!!! The kids called it " what's that smell" and i called it "hurry dear before I vomit" but it was the same game. Still no clue why the hallways smell like that. The rooms had a lock on door and we didn't have to sleep in our car because other hotels were sold out so for that they got one star.

The front desk was very nice...only good thing. We only stayed since it was late like 2am and we were Tired! Woke up next day seen hair all over bathroom and something on the bathroom floor. Carpet by beds had toe nail clippings on the carpet...walking down the hallway it was full of old beds, night stands. The guy said we had new beds in our room. We didn't even check breakfast out, I felt gross And left in a hurry!

I wish I didn't have to click ANY stars because this was the WORST experience that I ever had at a hotel. Our stay there was an absolute NIGHTMARE! I did ask for a smoking room, but that room smelled AWFUL! It smelled like the rug has never been vacuumed and/or shampooed. When my husband and I walked in further after checking in, we noticed that the window was wide open, no screen.....why? Anything can fly in there! The lamps looked discolored, one did not work and the chairs in the corner did not match & looked like they were from the 1960's. The TV barely had any volume and was old, the light fixtures in the bathroom were also discolored and our "comforter" had cigarette burns in it on the right side. When we checked in after our flight the receptionist called because I accidentally left my ID. I asked him to please switch our room because it smelled horrible. I told him I would prefer to be switched to a non smoking room and if I need to smoke I would just go outside. He refused, stating that he cannot switch because I already paid for the room.....SO we were stuck in this filthy room until our flight left Sunday morning. Also, the receptionist told me that it was supposed to smell horrible because it was a smoking room!!!!! Really? I stayed in plenty Super 8's, but this one was crappy. All the others I stayed in were great. I don't care if this was a smoking room, I never smelled anything so yucky! I didn't even want to breathe in because it smelled so terrible. The walls were thin, so I could hear the people across the hall arguing and I don't have anything against smoking weed, but there is no reason it should reek in the hallway. I might also add there was no hot water to shower. The warmest it got was letting the water run 15 minutes and it was still only 30% warm making it difficult to take a shower! It looks like this place is patronized by drug addicts, pimps and prostitutes. When we were leaving out at 5:30 am Sunday to catch our plane, this guy was sitting on the hallway steps playing on his phone ....why? Looked to me he appeared to be waiting on a drug deal or to purchase some. Either way, I was just scared we were gonna get robbed, just glad we didn't. To end, if you value your life, don't EVER stay in this nasty place they call a motel.
