I was apprehensive about going to a Supercuts for a color...I should have listened to myself. I received the very worse color job imaginable. The girl (Nora) apparently very new at coloring...I wound up looking like a cross between Andy Warhol and Woody Allen. It turned out a hideous light yellow...she attempted to re-dye it 2 more times. I had enough..my hair is noe orange to the tune of $75.00. I called the manager and after 3 calls she had the owner call me. She was rude and refused to refund my money. She kept insidting I come back in and they would try to correct. Needless to say she said she would not refund my money and could do nothinh for me. DON'T BOTHER GOING TO SUPERVUTS SUN CITY PALM DESERT CA IF YOU WANT A COLOR. NO PROFESSIONALISM, ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE OF COLOR.

This is an average Supercuts. I wasn't thrilled, but wasn't horrified at the results of my cut. I was there just a month ago, and feel that I need another cut. I'll likely search out a more traditional barber next time.

Sadly the "cutter" neglected to hear everything i said upon sitting in the chair. that I had already had it cut, which was most likely obvious since even a short "bob" haircut, not normally shorter than your hairline right! or that i was only in town to pick up some records, that it had already been cut, that i had washed dried and straightened the hair so that the "off" portions of the hair cut needed to be touched up. mostly 1/3 rd of the bottom line. just striaghten up the bottom line. She of course started on the easy side which was already basically straight, then got to the other side that needed the drop, the bow in the line and said it's not working fome, i'm getting it wet, took sections and i had told her that a wide tooth comb was all she needed that dry cutting was the only way to get it.... well long story short ultimately at the end she told me to go home wash it dry it straighten it and come back to have the bottom line straightened out! which is why i was there, why i stopped in a town a 3 hour drive away hoping that the "oh so special town of palm desert" would have a quality of cosmetologist on the floor employed in a pretty place with all the pretty people to get a simple straight line, i told her about the callic back that it was the reason it did better with a simple wide tooth comb and dry and after i had dried, straightened and me there with money that i don't come by easily. I should have gotten out of the chair when the cutter sent the cashier outside with water for a kid in the car, not a customer's kid not something i understood but hoped that the adults involved were really doing the right thing, all together hoping for the best. they say hair will grow back i should have jumped out of the seat and left . they seem to have decent reviews but .... the manager seemed nice but what can we do now, worry about the kid, wait months for the opportunity to go again that's what i already did. Should i blame the distraction that having a grandchild in the car while someone was working and ? baby sitting or just an off day. i'm not un used to people not listening to me or what i say, i even have a wench who is using my boyfriend and stops listening to me mid sentence to questions she asks, i'm almost getting used to that i didn't even mind at first when i realized that she wasn't listening to me but at the end when she told me that i ws going to have to do exactly what i told her i was in the chair doing to cut off more, how much shorter than the back of my ear for a one length hair cut? plus i tipped, which she asked for although there in my day it was impolite to ask for a tip those were to the customer's discretion. i want my money back i want the tip back i want the inch or so of hair back i want to go back and stop her from using clippers to "hack" at the hair line that looks like a weird flat wide wedge instead of an undercut bob on otherwise perfectly healthy hair because i haven't spend the health of my hair by burning it straight every day, i'm not into damaging my hair i used to be able to pullit back into a pony tail when i didn't want to burn it that option is gone, now i have to burn it whenever i leave home because people don't react well to you if look stupid and neither does your boyfriend because your hair keeps getting shorter as you pay time after time looking for a simple straight line... was she distracted or having an off day it's only hair excuse only works if its not your hair, the kid in a car in the desert on a day it was supposed to hit 80 maybe it was just a situation of circumstance i'm not the type to get child services involved she may have just had an unusual situation trying to do the most she could but why am i the one who has not enough hair to pull back when i did before the cut and have a weird wide bottom line hacked into with clippers trying to "sculpt" a line in or shave my hairline up further when it did nothing to improve the line or anything at all it only made it worse. I've known girls in the same industry who would turn timers up longer ..
