BEWARE OF THIS CAR WASH

For the last year I had been using an unlimited car wash pass at Sparkle Car Wash and had zero problems. Their locations were just not in convenient places for me. 

Monday, 3 days ago, I decided to switch to Supersonic Car Wash...boy do I regret that decision. After ONLY 2 washes the brushes in their car wash completely destroyed my black silicone/rubber trim around my side windows. See the pictures below. 

I talked with the manager at the West Temple Location, and while he was a nice guy, he would not admit that his car wash did this. He finally got me a refund for the monthly pass...well a “Prorated Refund”, but little else was done. 

He tried to say it looks like aging and oxidation despite their being clear scratch marks. Ridiculous. The pictures don’t do the damage justice. 

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Bad customer service, and HORRIBLE, Dirty, Old Brushes that will surely damage your car. Just think of what it’s doing to your gel coat.

They raised their prices & one day the wash wasn't working well. I left with the car dirtier than when I went in. When I asked they said to try it again-they "think" it's fixed now. It wasn't but I didn't have time to ask again, so I called later. Transferred then voice mail. No return call. Typically it works fine & the location is great for me. With the number of times I use it, the monthly unlimited is a good deal at $20.

I HIGHLY recommend this location. Their equipment is the most thorough I’ve had. The staff is THE BEST, they are professional and very kind. I won’t go anywhere else.

Saved $9 on a mediocre wash, now I get to pay $20 to replace my license plates without even a "sorry" from the management =\.

I decided to try this place out because I got a "free wash" coupon (just the basic exterior).  I checked out their website before hand to make sure it wouldn't damage my car (I have a non retractable antenna). The FAQ said it was absolutely safe, and the videos showed it as touch-less.  When I arrived I was nervous to see brushes, but I was dumb enough to proceed anyway.  

After the wash completed, my antenna was fine but my front license plate was detached and missing from my after-market bumper. I reported it to the front desk and they told me someone else had their ski rack detached earlier in the day.   The manager did a walk-through but said he couldn't see anything because it was "real soapy".  He offered to look again before he leaves for the day, but was unapologetic and didn't offer any resolution.

I got to spend the next hour talking to the police to report the plate missing, and now I have to pay to replace it.  On top of that, my car doesnt look very clean.

Worst detail job on the inside of my car. 
Great on the exterior and windows, but the vacuum job and wipe down was TERRIBLE. Thanks for nothing, as I will reclean myself as I should've done in the first place 😬
