I'm not one to write reviews, but I have to on this one. I bought a cake from here which I had in a drawing from ideas I put together. It was scheduled to be picked up at 11 am and we got there at 1045 to pick it up. It took about 40 to 50 more minutes from the time we got there for the cake to be done. I wasn't too happy about that, but once I saw the cake I was more than happy. The cake came out even better than what I thought it would. It definitely was worth the wait! Bread is also amazing.

Every single time we go in to this bakery they charge us different for the pastries. It's as if they do not have a set price. Every cashier charges whatever the heck they want and it's frustrating. They had flies inside the pastries! They don't bother to kill or keep flies from getting into them. We would go there because the pastries are good, but not for the different prices they charge us all the time. Also it is convenient because of the distance to where we live. Now we will be going to another bakery. It's just too much.

2 out of 3 people come here for the french rolls/francesitos/pan blanco, which IMO are the best in El Paso. I occasionally get a bag of biscochos"; small cookies, that come in either powered sugar or a sugar cinammon. On weekends they have to-go menudo in large styrofoam that also include a bread, lime, chopped onions, crushed chili pepper and oregano. They also sell flour tortillas, gallon milk and orange juice. Tip: Plan for a 15-20min queue on Sunday mornings, or get there very early.

The menudo and white bread (pan de blanco) is so good, the variety of sweet bread is also good too.
