The bikes are fine- they make due. BEWARE if you have any maintenance issues or a flat. It's a nightmare to deal with James and to get any one to help with your bikes issues. I called the night before regarding a flat and they forgot to replace the bike then told us they would be out in 30 minutes only to avoid our calls for two and half hours and eventually deliver the replacement bike to the wrong address. Kiawah is awesome though and definitely worth seeing from two wheels!

We tried to rent from Surfscooter, but couldn't get them to be a stand up business. I ordered a bike trailer online on Saturday evening. After a no show on Sunday we emailed and left messages with no response. We stumbled on a business relationship with this outfit on Monday and were told we would hear from them soon. Soon was about 4 hours later. James texted and gave a lame insurance excuse, but said he could still deliver the trailer or refund our money. I asked for the trailer to be delivered and inquired about a discount since we would only have the bike trailer for 4 instead of 6 days. I never heard from James again, never received the trailer, BUT my PayPal account was refunded two days later. So there's that.

We never received our bikes that we ordered for yesterday. They have already charged us via PayPal. I've called multiple times, left voicemails and sent 2 emails but no response. I expect to be refunded as we're leaving tomorrow morning so we unfortunately won't have any time to use the bikes. What a pity!
