Located in South Pasadena, California, Susanne Hollis, Inc. (Susanne Hollis) is a premier antique retailer specializing in fine antiques from Asia, Europe, and South America. Housed in a 16,000 sq. ft. show room and warehouse, antiquities span history from China’s 17th century Manchu Qing dynasty and India’s 18th century British Colonial period to France’s 19th century gothic revival and empire periods and Scandinavia’s 19th century classicism and empire periods. Frequent travels abroad in search of distinctly unique pieces ensure a consistently replenished inventory.

In addition to the shop’s antiquities, Susanne Hollis offers custom reproductions of furniture and accessories. With on-site refinishing capabilities, as well as a fine art gallery, and professional design expertise, Susanne Hollis has been providing interior/set designers and individuals with tailored shopping experiences for more than 25 years.

Mission

Founder and owner of Susanne Hollis, Inc., Ms. Hollis has more than three decades of expertise with fine antiques. Her innate curiosity about culture and history took root during her upbringing in Denmark where she honed her proficiency of Scandinavian antiquities. While residing in Taiwan, she immersed herself in exploring the region’s abundant antiques representing life and dynasties of centuries past. Ms. Hollis subsequently expanded her repertoire with frequent travels to countries throughout Asia, Europe, and South America. Having hand selected fine antiquities across the globe for several decades, her expertise with antiques, restoration, and reproductions coupled with long-standing relationships with vendors enables a consistently dynamic inventory of truly unique pieces.
