Super cute and chill place to visit. Live music which is so fun. Food is homemade! Amazing staff too... this place feels like home for an out of towner! We loved visiting it!

Tonight was my first time at Sweet Melissa's, and it was terrible. There was no bartender, but several 2-liter bottles of soda were on the bar. Some folks were helping themselves to soda, and no one seemed to know how to pay for it. I could see a man working in the kitchen, and I walked back with a bottle of diet coke and a glass and asked if it was okay to pour it and how much I owed. The guy SCREAMED at me and told me to put the bottle of diet coke back on the bar. No problem... I can just as easily spend my money at Three Penny Tap Room or Langdon Street Tavern - both are excellent and right around the corner from Sweet Melissa's!

Good selection of drinks, but busy at the bar. Fun atmosphere. You have to hit it at the right time, or catch the right band, but I think it's a great bar.

I went on "Hot Mess Night" for my first time here and it was a blast! We had a wonderful time viewing the acts, the bartender was very attentative to orders and the hostess was absolutely awesome at getting the crowd into the mood. Definitely coming back!!
