Sweet Occasions made my daughter's first birthday cake and I was supper nervous because I had never used them before. Not only did they give me a great price and beautiful looking ladybug cake, it was delicious! I received several commpliments on how beautiful the cake looked and even more on how good it tasted! Customer service was also a 5 very easy to talk to and helpful staff. So happy I found this bakery and I will definelty be ordering from Sweet Occassions again and again! Thank you for making her Birthday cake the best!

Had a request that no other bakery was able to help me with. The staff was not only helpful, but so friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be back for other things!!!!!

I ordered a 3 tier custom cake as well as a single layer smash cake for my daughter's first birthday. We ordered 2 weeks in advance and arranged to pick up the cake the day before my daughter's party as they are not open Sundays. No problem. We arrived to pick up the cake and it was GORGEOUS.  Absolutely perfect. Beautiful. Better than I imagined. I have nothing but good things to say about the cake decorating. So they give us the cake and start to lead us out when I questioned about the smash cake. The cake was never made so they asked if we minded a different flavor and they would make it up right then. That was fine. Not a terribly big deal but a little surprising considering it's a professional bakery. Either way, no big deal. They offered us a half dozen cupcakes for the trouble. Which was very nice. We tried the cupcakes when we got home and they were quite good so I was very excited about the cake. This is unfortunately where we were very disappointed. We had 3 tiers, one vanilla, one chocolate, and one red velvet. The chocolate and vanilla were both incredibly dry. Crumbly dry. The red velvet was a little more moist but still a little on the dry side. The frosting on the smash cake tasted TERRIBLE. Not sure what it was but it tasted nasty. After we took the initial pictures we just tossed it. We had multiple people try the frosting to see if maybe it was just us but each person said the same thing. Overall we were definitely disappointed. I don't think that we will order from them again. Decorating wise they were fantastic. But we'd like to enjoy eating the cake more than looking at it.
