My Husband and I ordered a cake for my birthday and picked it up on a Tuesday afternoon (1:00 pm). I live ten minutes from this shop. An hour before my dinner party the cake started to melt (7:00pm). First, the flowers fell off the top, then eventually the walls. I called the shop and a young lady informed me that the blue frosting changes the quality of the buttercream (first time hearing this) and that she would need to see pictures. Also, the the owner would call me. I sent the pictures that night and I waited. I waited until the next day and I was force to call because the owner hadn't called me. When I spoke with the owner she was very rude and told me she has been doing this for 17 years and that it was something I did. I told her I didn't want money back but asked was there something that could be done? She didn't work with me and told me to have a nice day. Sadly, I will not be returning to this bakery or referring any of my clients or friends.

Always great customer service. Every time I visit them. Cupcakes and red velvet cakes. They have a very nice selection of sweets.

We had 2 cakes both with 3 tiers and 6 different flavors made for our kids birthday parties. The cakes looked AMAZING and all 6 flavors were delicious. Mel the owner is amazing to work with, she accomodated all our requests and the result was spectacular. I would gladly recommend her to anybody.

I was looking for a company to cater my wedding cake. I had no idea where to start, but my husband's sister immediately came to the rescue and recommended Sweet Thing. I was immediately impressed upon walking into the cute venue. We met with the owner and after discussing size, design, flavors, delivery date and pricing the owner was kind enough to allow us a consultation (without an appointment) to sample some cupcakes. Amazing. After sampling the cupcakes I decided on three flavors. I don't like Red Velvet, but I know it's a popular flavor among guests so I decided to go with it, just not on my top tier, which as tradition goes, is saved for the one year anniversary. The cake was ready on time and looked absolutely stunning! We received so many compliments! However the cake flavors were not located on the correct tiers. The very next day we called the owner and she was very apologetic. She explained that on our year anniversary I could come back and have the top tier made fresh! I really appreciate that extra effort on the owner's part to correct the issue. I just hope she doesn't forget about me however in a year!!! Thanks for the amazing customer service and delicious treats. Definitely recommend.

Cupcakes are fresh and rich, with great flavor. A little pricey.
