Great food and great staff. My new favorite breakfast spot. You have to try the pecan butter and Kahlúa syrup. Sounds good huh! Not in the mood for hash brown? No worries, ask for substitute items like fruit.Recommended dishesEggs Benedict with Hashbrowns
This was our first time here. What a great place. It is right across the street from City Park and the Denver Zoo is close too. The food was delicious. The portions are large; we couldn't eat all of it. Definitely try this place out of you haven't been here before. Staff was also very nice.
TL;DR - probably not worth the money or driving for. Overall pretty mediocre experience. Latte: Bad. Tasted like drip coffee with foam on top. Food: Not bad but not great - neither me nor my girlfriend overly enjoyed our meals as they seemed to just be lacking any depth of flavor. I literally can’t remember the last time I salted food eating out and had to here. Similarly I had the eggs Benedict and this pic was the quality of the egg. Not sure what the point of poaching eggs is if you’re going to turn them into mochi instead Service: Friendly staff but not very attentive. My water glass sat empty the entire meal until we got our check and even then I had to ask for more. Never checked on our table once beyond getting us our food.
Was very disappointed by Syrup after wanting to try it for months. Ordered 3 entrees and beignets. Nothing tasted fresh. I know it’s hard to get fresh fruit in Colorado this time of year but it all tasted rotten
This is just your classic breakfast eatery They have a few things that seem unique but if your in the market for a wow dish this isn't the place. It's a nice little restaurant and the staff is ve y attentive and helpful. My cousin got pancakes which he said were delicious and tasted like donuts. I got an omelette. The omelette wasn't anything special and didn't have a ton of flavor to it. But we have been back 3 times on this trip
Everything we ordered was fantastic!! The beignets and the cracked bacon were a perfect starter. I love eggs benedict but I don't like runny eggs and they made my poached hard egg perfectly. Everything was fantastic- the food & the service were amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out for brunch!
We had a wonderful experience at Syrup! The staff was so accommodating when I had come in during peak brunch time needing a table for 10. They quickly whipped together some seating for us. The mimosas and food were absolutely delicious and plenty! Above all though, our server was the best! I wish i could remember her name because she definitely deserves the recognition. Wishing i still lived in the area so i could come here more often!
Breakfast very good, the Benedictin eggs a little over cooked. The churro doughnuts were great.Recommended dishesEggs Benedict with Hashbrowns, Beignets
Worst customer service experience during our four-day trip to Denver. Seriously understaffed. Although we sat quickly, we waited at least an hour for our food. Our waters sat empty and my tea also took forever. Wouldn’t recommend visiting until they have a better staffing plan in place, especially on a Sunday during brunch.
The menu has lots of options but meals are limiting usually 1-2 items and the drinks are expensive, but food tastes great French toast is a must and mimosa options are awesome. Tables are small but it is a good atmosphere. Hard to find parking close or for free. No wait times on a Sunday morning.
