Story

Both doctors received their doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Greg Szalai in 1987 and Dr. Joanne Szalai in 1990. Upon graduating, Dr. Greg Szalai completed his general practice dentistry at the Medical College of Ohio and Dr. Joanne Szalai completed hers at Allen Park VA Hospital. They both continue to expand their knowledge of dentistry through continuing education credits. They have completed studies at the LSU Cosmetic Continuum, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and the Pankey Institute.

You will not find a better staff or Dentist in this area. Top notch equipment and technology, kind and patient, "hurt-free" in my experience and never rushed. Dr. Greg is spot on, his recommendations are just right, I never have to return for adjustments. Jennifer is a wonderful hygienist, kind, comforting, smooth, understanding and caring. Not a judgemental office. If you, like me, have lapsed in your preventative, don't worry, they want to help. Lynette is terrific, she keeps it spinning right. Spotless office, fast and efficient and hours that work for you. Go, you will never regret having a Dentist like this helping you care for your teeth for the future.

I have always had a great experience at Szalai’s. I’ve been going here since I was 3 years old and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. My whole family has loved the office and the workers. Mandy, Jen, Joanne, and Greg, just to name a few, have always been friendly and done a great job cleaning our teeth. I would highly recommend Szalai & Szalai DDS to anyone :)

I’m usually pretty nervous before going to the dentist, but I have to say that after my appointment this morning that has all changed. I really enjoyed my time at Szalai dentistry. Not only did I find ease in having my teeth cleaned, but I was also able to converse comfortably with my hygienist. She showed genuine interest in my college work and future career plans and in the end she connected me to a professional in my field of study. I greatly look forward  to coming back for my next cleaning.

Such a welcoming and knowledgeable staff! I've never felt more at ease in a dentist office. I highly recommend this practice! The remodel is definitely a bonus,  adds a relaxing environment!

For over 50 years I have been getting good dental care and, during that time, I have visited many dentists. Dr. Greg Szalai and his team rank among the best I have known and I have full confidence in both his diagnostic skills as well as his ability to perform general dental operations. Everyone in the practice is calm, focused and working smoothly with others. Not often do I have occasion to say this, but I actually like going to this dentist's office. Three additional points: they run on-time, which is much appreciated these days; their prices are fair and reasonable; and the office is clean and pleasant. If you need a dentist, I recommend this office - without hesitation.
