For a state park, nice, peaceful lovely place to stay. Came after hrs, had reservation, had site available w/reservation notice on site. Drive up further on road from visitor center, can be confusing, but follow 'camping' sign. Usually 'Host' on site after hrs in #1. Very friendly & welcoming!

Great movies - make sure you take time to see them both. Complete with lightning bugs and sound effects in the theater. Wonderful displays and waking trails

Best experience in Memphis so far. Clean grounds, nice spaces, (no sewage :( , dumping only), nice visitors! We will definitely be back.

Showed up without a reservation one more time back in October 21st 2016 and I must say that the ranger was the absolute nicest person we encountered in state parks. He gave us campsite 43 which we loved it and tickets for the museum for the following day which we thoroughly enjoyed the next day and found some amazing pottery similarities with a couple of ancient Peruvian cultures and I am not talking about the modern exhibition of Peruvian folk art displayed there but the old, old pottery. Park is clean and quiet and everyone that works there does a nice job. Thanks to all and keep up the good work. Friendly State with discount even if you are from out of State
