Decided to spontaneously grab dinner after a workout class and stumbled upon Tacko. I came in around 730p and it was super busy! Not busy enough where you couldn’t find a table, but there was a bevy of delivery drivers all huddled around the counter to order. You order then grab a number to sit down. It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but the food did feel tasty and worth the wait. Highlights were definitely the steak quesadilla and the baja fish taco. If you get the tacos, the nicks way is delicious! And my favorite salsa was the verde. I also grabbed a horchata which tasted a bit of watery but was still refreshing. Their chips and salsa comes with a heaping amount of pico de gallo. All in all - Would recommend!
I love mexican food everything is delicious. I am just not sure if its truly mexican but definitely recommend. Tacos are good, definitely try their corn so yummm and red sangria! Chip and salsa also fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back.Food: 5/5
A friend told me I should check this place out. I ordered the Baja tacos and the grilled fish tacos, chips and salsa and horchata. Grilled fish was good, Baja tacos needed the fish I got a lot of battered and little fish : the chips and salsa was yummy they actually top the chips with the pico salsa, horchata didn’t have much flavor. The staff super friendly the place have outdoor sitting area and cute inside. I might give it another try at this place : Parking: Sf and marina district busy street a bit difficult to find parking
Flavorful and light fish taco with a really great texture profile each bite. When ordered Nick’s way, there is a nice dynamic of seasoned fish, cabbage, pico, guac, and a crispy/soft shell combo. Was perfect for a light lunch at a solid price point of $11. Outdoor seating also felt great while the sun was out.Food: 5/5
Guacamole was chunky and fresh. Chips were crunchy and tasted homemade. Fish taco was best I ever had. Taco bowl was lovely. Will be back.Food: 5/5
Great spot for tacos in Cow Hollow. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos “Nicks way” and the fried cod fish tacos are also super fresh and yummy. The chips and salsa are very yummy, but kinda pricy. Love sitting outside here enjoying a margarita.Food: 5/5
If you are hungry and you love tacos, burritos and beer, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE and a great choice. The service was excellent and the flavor of the food is amazing . As a Mexican, I recommend this place. Also, if you love salsa in your tacos, they have plenty. I recommend the green salsa.
Really good food. I forgot to make pictures. Realize when I was more then halfway done. Carne asada burrito bowl was a bomb!! My Wife’s chicken burrito bowl also was very delicious! Guacamole was fresh and well seasoned. Huge selection of hot sauces. I recommend this place to try authentic Mexican food.
So yesterday after riding into town the night before we stripped down the gear off the bikes and run some errands. One of our stops was the local trek bike store and over there they told us about this restaurant. So we took a ride around the corner and took a seat. The inside was very nice and the menu had some great options. So we had the 3 traditional tacos , one chicken ,asada and pork these were delicious. I felt like I was in Mexico getting it right from a food truck. We also had the California burrito which was absolutely delicious, we tried the nicks way taco which you have to try. Along with my Margarita this was a absolutely a great mean. Must try
We were looking for good Mexican food and we found it! We got the California Burrito and the San Francisco Burrito and the chips and salsa. Great food. Fun environment. And the in house sauces are fantastic. A must try! Everything tasted and was fresh and delicious. They also have water "on tap". Will come back for sure next time we are in town!
