Taco Tico
"A lot’s changed since we first put our name on a signature taco in the 60’s. Like credit cards. Or electric cars in the drive-through. But we still use fresh ingredients and treat everyone like a friend. We’re still the neighborhood spot for good food and good times. And we’re still serving up tacos, burritos, taco burgers and more with the same, unforgettable taste."

I didn't order anything special. Bean burritos with cheese. Sour cream.... The service was great, and the atmosphere too. Margaritas on a beautiful day! Can NOT complain! Only $5 spentFood: 5/5
Picked up the daily special on a Wed it's beef enchiladas. They were great! You can't get fast food tex mex or mexican anywhere better.Food: 5/5
Not worth the money. Ordered a Taco salad substitute beef for chicken. Disappointed. Paid almost 13 dollars for a shell of lettuce and beans. I had 7 tiny pieces of chicken. This is my 2nd time at Taco Tico in the past few months disappointed again. Don't waste your time or money.
I was heading across town to an old classic car cruise-in Friday night and stopped to get a few gallons of gas. The guy filling up on the other side of the gas pump ask about my 1963 F100 truck. And, he told me about the cruise-in at Taco Tico on Southland Dr. So, I drove in, parked, and looked at the other classic cars parked in the back parking lot. There were probably a dozen cars and some friendly people there to talk to. Thanks Taco Tico for providing a place where we could gather to show our old jalopies.
I had the worst experience. My husband and I sat in the drive thru and waited 15min for our order. Once we finally had received it the flatbread pizza was made with the wrong sauce which burnt my lips. They were so bad they swelled up. I was very disappointed and will not be back.Food: 1/5
I personally didn’t like it, but I don’t feel it’s fair to give a lower rating just because it’s not my style of Mexican. It’s a perfect mix between fast food Mexican and dine in. The food was good, but idk lol I just like Taco Bell tacos better. I don’t remember if it was like the 80’s taco tico’s. I was too young to remember the taste. Regardless, def good and worth trying!
Amazing! Great food. Food is fresh. Very friendly. My favorite location!
The store did appear clean and our clerk was pleasant. We tried 4 items from the menu, I had tried a TicoTaco several years ago, didn’t enjoy the experience. Neither of us liked the items, there are some who will eat anything obviously. We both would rate the food below their south of the border competitors, an we know how awesome that stuff isn’t. Parking: Plenty of parking!
Stopped there to get dinner on 4/14/23. Paid and waited at the window forever. Individual who was working the drive-thru finally handed me food without saying anything, and walked off. He never gave me my drink, so I sat there. A couple mins later a girl appears and tells me "we are out of meat". It's 8 o'clock they are supposedly open another hour, but what do I know? At any rate I tell her that I received my food, but needed a drink. I leave and then when I go to eat what they gave me it couldn't have been more incorrect had they done it on purpose. I ordered a Texas Style Sancho, 2 hard shell tacos and a bean burrito.......they gave me a Taco Salad and three of the same burrito. Furthermore, all of it was ice cold. I return to take it back, and they've closed. I'm guessing due to their supposed meat shortage. Pathetic.
One of my favorite fast food stops in Lexington. Took my son last night for the first time and he loved their beef and cheese nachos. I always get the crunchy chicken tacos and beans and cheese. They always use much fresher ingredients than other fast food taco chains.
