My wife had fractured her right shoulder in Susanville, CA. We had a great amount of difficulty getting a referral to any emergency room for a different type of referral to an orthopedics. A few calls made by a friend got us in with Dr. Kyle Swanson who saw my wife in two days and 3 days later ha a total shoulder replacement. All went well and had our second follow up appointment and all went and is still going well. Thank you to the friendly, courteous and competent staff.

Waited 2 hours just to be called back into a room for my 2 year old son who broke his ankle, it was 7pm then was gonna have to wait another hour. No one communicated with me it would be this long of a wait. No bed side manner for that fact that a 2 year old in pain was waiting.

Scheduling and communication is oddly deficient. In scheduling surgery appointment they had pulled charts for the wrong patient and wrong surgery! No call backs! Doctor blamed office staff that he apparently dosent manage. Be wary. So many red flags here I had to share the concern.

I would recommend Tahoe fracture to anyone in need of Orthopedic services! Dr Cummings and staff are super friendly and more important very professional and helpful. I can always get guidance with a simple phone call and 10 out of 10 times get a live person or a prompt return phone call! Not only will you receive the proper care but you will receive a team of people that can help you on your way to recovery!! Thank you Dr. Cummings and staff!!
