My daughter went in for her pain management evaluation very first time and they never they never evaluated her. They made wait an hour and a half before she even got into see the nurse practitioner, dr. wasn't even there for her first visit. . My daughter has been in three car accidents in one year and none of them have been her fault. They were condescending and rude and treated her as if she were a drug attic although she seeking help to relieve her chronic pain . Dr. Tetro referred me to this other pain management doctor Patterson and when I mentioned my lawyer they left me alone and then escorted her to the door. They told her they could not help her although they are pain specialist and my daughter has chronic pain in her neck and low back. This is the worst place you could go to because they will not treat you for pain, although they are pain specialists!!!! They never helped me!!' It's obvious through all the reviews .

My aunt has been going here for months. Extremely unsympathetic and unpathetic to her pain. Dr Patterson is arrogant and uncaring. Despite trial test for pain pump not helping, he talked my aunt into having a pump inserted. Months later, no help and he and his staff don't seem concerned at all. Definitely do not recommend.

This was my first pain management doctor I been to and they made my first experience going to one horrible. Visited 4 times and they did nothing about my pain. I mentioned going to them was getting me nowhere in making my pain go away and they flat out told me that they just wanted me to keep coming back to get my money. They kept trying to shove a procedure down my throat, but I refused (which is my right to do) cause of work conditions but they still wanted me to come back just to go over other options and not do anything about my pain. After they told me they just wanted my money I cancelled my next appointment because I refuse to give them another dime. I already found another doctor and I'd rather be in pain until I go see him rather than give these people my money.

My experience with this office was horrible but Patterson and Bowman were the worst, uncompassionate, narcissistic, humans I have ever met in my life. I was referred to them by my GP when he was concerned about me and wanted to see how pain mgmt might help me. I have been battling spine arthritis since 2008 and had a laminectomy in 2009, by Dr. Lali Sekon, neurosurgeon. Since I saw Patterson yesterday when he stated to me he doesn't want to listen to anything I have to say, and he also said I've refused treatments i.e. epidurals, which I have had two and did nothing for me but make my hair fall out; PT did absolutely nothing for me, it just benefitted the PT practice in $( ROC); and he really wanted me to try the spine stimulator which I'm sure he gets a great big chunk of money in his pocket from. I dont know how much but probably gets at least $20,000 but I dont know for sure. In 2008, I woke up and I couldn't walk, my whole left leg was numb and it was excrutiating pain in my lower left back. I tried ROC and they gave me injections, which did nothing, they did two epidurals post surgery in 2009, which made my hair fall out and nothing for the pain, and their PT was the worst experience in my life. Unless you've lived through something like this you have no idea what pain is. Pain becomes your life. In November of 2008 I found Dr. Sekon and it took a while but when I saw him he said you need to get this done right away, how about next week, the Monday before XMAS. I did it after the first of the year. So Lidocaine patches, Tylenol, Advil and my determination I made it until 1/20/09. I had a little relief on the left side but I kept on healing. I did do Spine Nevada's PT & the woman was wonderful & gave me lots of tips that I practice to this day. Then I went on my way with my Norco scrip and my pain. I rehabbed myself by walking 2-3 miles a day and using Norco to help. Time went on and after about three years the pain was tolerable but it was a long road. Again, I reiterate, unless you have gone through something like this you HAVE NO IDEA what it feels like. I was very proud of rehabbing myself. Since approx. 2013 it's my right side in pain but more tolerable than the left but still impairs my ability to walk. I contacted Patterson last Saturday to see if I could use some of my Norco because I had this horrible episode on the post surgery site. It scared me because I thought it was starting all over, coming back, and yes, I panicked. He said I can't renew your scrip early. Well, I did take some of the pills to relieve the pain. I'm okay with pills, if he would have listened to me. I have come up short many times in the past 8 or so years and it hasn't usually been a problem but now since the opiate hysteria Patterson was enraged and said to me "You are going to die and I don't want to be the one to sign your death certificate." At that point, I left. LIFE HAPPENS and we adjust, I didnt commit murder. It scared me of course because I'm not a self-serving, money hungry doctor. My husband and I live on what I can make from a home business and his tips from his bartender job. I, of course, did some thinking and will try to cut back further on the Norco and continue with my own form of getting along in life. I've raised two beautiful children, buried one husband when cancer struck our lives; and have also buried both parents and I would never want my children to have to bury me at this point in my life and theirs DONT GO HERE.... It's a detox center that WANTS YOUR MONEY by buying expensive treatments and so called "surgeries". I had a bad gut feeling when I met him and Bowman. You can tell he doesn't want to listen & has ZERO compassion, and HORRIBLE/ZERO bedside manner. You wait Patterson, it will come back to you how you treat patients, and probably people if they can't do something for you. You should NOT be a dr. When I see my new dr. I will first go over my financial situation. Patterson thinks we all have lots of $.

I've had 2 procedures done by Dr. Patterson....a neurostimulator and Halogen knee injections. I've been able to get off my sleeping pills and take at most 1 pain med a day, if that. His staff, along with Rob & Jeff of St. Jude Medical have always been there to answer questions and make me feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend going to see him if you are in pain and feel like there is nothing anyone can do but put you on more medication. He is the best!
