Yes, this little campground is by no means in the wilderness, and it's wedged between a residential area & a shopping center, but it's right on Lake Tahoe & has its own little beach & great pier. All of the goodness of Tahoe City is walkable/bikeable, and floating/swimming at the little beach is divine. The campground is very clean & well maintained. Each site is different from the next but each (that we checked out, we didn't see every one) had good separation from the neighboring site, in my opinion, & given the location. One very weird thing: site #11 has a well worn footpath through it, that apparently many people use to walk from an adjacent residential cul-de-sac to the Safeway/shopping center. Some walking through were apologetic, most were not. Other than that, a wonderful experience!

Extremely close to the water, coffee shops, and grocery stores. I would give it 5 stars, but is also very close to the road and other campers. Very nice place if your want a relaxing, at-ease campground that's not really out on the wild.

Fun place but lots of rules. Make sure you know them all if you stay here.
