Visiting the Talbott Tavern was an amazing experience. I took my girlfriend for dinner for Valentine's day, the had a special for couples to add to the experience. Everyone was super friendly and everyone had they're one thing to say about the historical Tavern. The food there was amazing. Top quality most definitely. It was a little pricey so definitely not an everyday thing. It was super clean and a ton of fun. I would most definitely recommend and then have some fun around town too!!!

Coolest and one of the oldest bars in Bardstown. it is a bar, restaurant, and hotel or bed and breakfast. We stayed the night in the  Daniel Boone room this last time we stayed. We have stayed in the Lincoln suite before as well. Cool place to be, the food at the restaurant is great. The bar is really neat and has live music on the weekends. If you have never been I recommend going.

Highly overrated.  I appreciate the location and age of Tavern. We ordered shrimp/grits and Hot Brown, which were both very common. Would not recommend.

Loved the history... feels like you just stepped back in time! Food was ok! Had the prime rib and it tastes good,but was over cooked and very dry 🤔

Star lost as the food was only ok (though priced reasonably). My wife's shrimp and grits consisted of cold steamed shrimp and just ok cheese grits. My fried catfish sandwich was good. Our waitress was very good and flexible enough to get me what I wanted. The bourbon list is amazing, and you cam get bourbon samplers at two different levels. I didn't do this as it would simply be too much alcohol for me. There are also a reasonable number of craft brews available including Kentucky Bourbon Ale. The building is also very historic amd you are encouraged to take a look around after your meal.
