Good selection of rolls, friendly staff, and usually easy to get a spot w/out stressing like the rest of the neighborhood. Favorite is Crazy in Love Roll torched salmon, avocado, topped w spicy tuna Good for take out, a date, or quick drop in. I've come w friends for a bday dinner. Staff struggled to cater to our group of 6 couldn't get the drinks out quickly enough but maybe it was just an off night. Overall highly recommend.
Easy to get a reservation online ahead of time. Food was good but nothing spectacular. Service was nice but it took us 45 minutes to get our 4 sushi rolls for 4 people. There are heaters for the outside seating.
Decent sushi place - more modern than a traditional sushi restaurant. Smaller food menu. Good sake selection although much overpriced in my opinion. The salmon isn’t wild so it made me question their other fish sourcing. Stuck with veggie rolls. The rolls I did have were good. Not at all traditional though. Come for the atmosphere.
This is our favorite sushi spot! Luckily, it's right down the hill from us, but the service is amazing and the food has always been high quality and at a good price. The manager and staff make us feel like it's our Cheers of sushi - highly recommend!
100% my favorite sushi spot in the neighborhood. They have some great spicy rolls and some great baked rolls. Chefs are nice, wait staff is nice. Lovely place.
Happy hour gyoza and a 9$sake/Sapporo combo got me!! Sushi was good and so was the service!
The atmosphere is amazing for the price you pay. The waitress genuinely delivers good service and took out my friend's order or Yuzu Palmer because she didn't like it. The wait time for food was a bit long which always gets to me. The rolls were delicious. Overall I liked it a lot and would definitely come back.
I read the nice Yelp reviews and proposed to my family to give it a try while we were visiting SF. We had high expectations and I would give the food here 4 stars, but the service definitely has room to improve. We initially ordered white tuna and other dish, they all ran out of ingredients. We replaced one of the dishes with butter fish recommended by the waitress, which was tender and tasty. The wait staff seemed very busy, it took a while for the waitress to stop by to take the order after we sat down for about 10 minutes. The interior looked simple and contemporary. Overall, it was a lower-than-expected experience for us.
Had a quick dinner here, and it wouldn’t be possible without the prompt, pleasant and polite service. Great staff, keep it up! Food was good as well. I wish there was a bit more variety in the menu. The Shishito peppers were awesome, they were mixed with octopus and dried and salty tuna bits, which I never had before. Uni nigiri was a small portion but an interesting mix of two types of uni that complemented each other. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back, though I would go to the Marina just for this restaurant.
Reasonable lunch specials. Pretty presentation. Good quality fish and produce. Attentive, prompt, courteous service. Young, bar-like, non-authentic atmosphere. Atrociously charges for stale green tea...for a sushi restaurant, that's equivalent to a hotdog stand charging for ketchup.
