Their Christmas festivities are incredible! I've never seen a zoo come so alive after dark for the holidays. This is definitely a must for families in the area. Kids will love the Santa's Village area. They hire some live entertainment (elves, Mrs. Clause, Santa, carolers, etc.) and it really adds to the atmosphere. Don't miss the beautiful lights that are on display throughout the park!

Nice place to spend a cool afternoon. Great for kids that like animals. At the back of the park is the Safari which has elephants and zebras, among other animals. There are a few kids rides and a carousel. Parking is free but it can be hard to find close spots during events or later in the day on weekends. They host fun seasonal events for kids and adults. Outside snacks and drinks are allowed. In the kids area there is water to play in. Also in the summer there is a big fountain pad by the entrance/exit for kids to play in.

Christmas event was very nice; decorations we're beautiful! Get there early and make sure you get a reservation if you want to meet Santa! My kids loved it and it's nice that you get a private experience to chat with him. We have a membership and go several times a year, but especially love the seasonal events!

Great zoo for families. There is a lot to see and zoo is fairly well laid out. Look for their discounted tickets and you get the year for the cost of a day pass. There is a little water park for the kids to cool off on those hot, humid days.

Fun for the whole family! My kids love visiting this zoo! They have a really cool petting zoo, where the kids can get hands on with animals, also there's a great water park area for a cool down in the summer. If you get a season pass you get a discount on almost everything you buy.
