I found a dress for $44 here at Tanger Outlet that I'd seen at Macy's for $110! Needless to say, I bought the $44 dress! Great prices here! It's off-season so no crowds and easy parking. Will definitely stop by on my next trip to the Outer Banks.

This is a small, yet nice outlet shopping center on the Outer Banks. It is a nice place to visit in between the beach, fishing or other activities. This outlet is particularly nice during the off season because there are great deals and it is not super crowded. But, I'm sad that the Coach store just closed a few days ago! Lastly, even if you aren't a fan of shopping, go with the rest of your party, grab a smoothie and have a seat by the water. The view of the sound from Tanger Outlets at sunset is stunning!

As far as big box, chain store or outlet shopping goes, this is really a great find. Even at the busiest of shopping times, the outlet center is never overly crowded. The mix of stores is nice and each is well staffed with a mix of really friendly, knowledgeable people. The Eddie Bauer outlet store is a personal favorite!
