I would like to thank Taos P.D. for helping us make a safe decision on Oct 20, 2018. My husband and I were on vacation. we were debating if we should continue with our trip to Amarillo during the night. We had to stop for gas. We wanted to take the shortcut. It so happened that a police officer from Taos was putting gas also so I asked for his advise. He said if we would take the shortcut, it would be dangerous because we would be going down some mountains. So we decided to spend the night in Taos. The next day we took the shortcut to Amarillo. We were very, very grateful that we listened to him.. The scenery was beautiful but the road was very curvy and dangerous for a Texan. We really want to THANK the P.D. and especially the officer, who gave us that good advice about staying or going through Las Vegas..  Rio Grande Valley RGV Texas

I have always found the police officers to be courteous, prompt, and helpful. I feel sorry for the tremendous risk they take, often getting very little respect. Good job, police officers.

Taos police are very rude and will try anything to pull you over.........  There cruped and think there above the law they will try to scold you like A child when they pull you  over .........#crucked Taos police!
