Story

What began in the fall of 2005 as a dream of bringing together fresh, made from scratch "addictive" food alongside a large selection of local "creative" handcrafted, exclusive and rare beers on tap is today a reality at Tap House Grill.

The dream of delicious food and exceptional beer became a reality on November 11, 2006 when the first Tap House Grill opened in St Charles, Illinois.

Tap House Grill currently operates 8 locations including Des Plaines, Hanover Park, Lemont, Oswego, Palatine, Plainfield, St. Charles and Westmont.

The Tap House Grill heritage "Addictive Food" and "Creative Brews" along with great times are now being served up fresh daily.

Great food and drinks! Everything I've had here is delicious. Really cool ambience too. It's a bit pricey and at times it can be too noisy. But great for a Friday or Saturday night dinner and drinks or Sunday morning Bloody Mary and watching whatever sports game is on one of their many TV's.

Food was just ok prices are a little high my wife said the shrimp tacos had more filler than shrimp. At $ 15 she said not worth it. Atmosphere was loud. It's more of a sports bar than a brew house. I had the fish and chips not bad. But was $11 more fish less fries. I usually don't rate places this low. I write reviews for Google all the time we eat out 6 times a month i visit 24 places a month. Service is everything. Waitress Didn't seem happy to work there need more smiles and should check back more often we waited 20 minutes just to get the waitress to bring the check.

Awesome service (Mandy, Matt, & Jessica!!) food, & drinks! Had a little issue with a chatty drunk patron (even had the audacity to request a spoon to share the app we ordered on our date night) & the bartenders were so appauled with him, they comped our app. They went above & beyond-totally did not need to do that. He left and we ended up having a great evening. Thank you Tap House for the yummy stuff & a super fun story to tell :)

Specials are great. I go here quite frequently and have only had one bad experience. But they took it off my bill. Other than that the food is great. Staff can be a little less than punctual, but that's not why you go here. Go for large beer selection, above average food, and an energetic atmosphere.

The place is a decent bar. For the suburbs it is a good bar, FYI I live in the city. The food is mostly good esp the tacos. The beer selection is pretty good, and they have enough TVs around to make the case for a sports bar. They have daily specials that are worth noting before going there. They also have outdoor seating but nothing exceptional about it. Overall a good bar worth the once in a while visit.
