This store has great urban design and gives dinkytown a little kick of life, if you enjoy people-watching. However, the line layout and self-checkout atmosphere is completely obnoxious. It does the following: 1) Facilitates the awkward 'are you paying with card' question that customers are now asking other customers. 2) Causes the store clerk to shout at the top of their lungs, announcing the availability of a self-checkout machine when one is open. They would be better off with two clearly delineated checkout lines (one for self checkouts and one for human clerks).

This is certainly good places for UMN students to do some grocery shopping. It usually gets crowded with many people queuing to check out, but the staff is very friendly and polite, and this branch has lots of items you want to have for your living. However, if you want to find even cheaper deals for some items, I recommend you to visit other branches nearby, such as those in the downtown, on Lake Street, or on Stinson.

The most convenient store around. Many young people in Dinkytown use this Target to to buy all their groceries.

It's a small convenient Target with higher than average prices. Great to pick up something quick but not so much for a full shopping trip
