Wish I could leave TEN stars!! My son and I went to JCPenney tonight to look for a new shirt for him at the suggestion of my teenage daughter. We walked into the men's department and started to look around. Mandy noticed that we were kind of struggling to find the right shirt for him so she came to our rescue. She started with the shirts we were looking at and then asked questions and carefully listened to our answers. Then she took us to a couple more sections of shirts until we found just the ones we thought would look good on him. She patiently helped us as he tried on the shirts and needed slightly different sizes and styles. Then, once we found the right shirt she helped us find the right pair of jeans. All the while she kept an eye on the register and helped people while my son tried on clothes. When one customer got snippy with her because they had to wait while she was helping us, Mandy was so kind and patient with this customer. My son and I left the store with the clothes he needed, big smiles on our faces and a new friend. Thanks for all of your help tonight Mandy!! We absolutely couldn't have done this without you!!!

The serivce wasnt great for me when i here. I had done a exchange and the cashier working with me didnt have any clue what he was doing. As he tried and tried he had started to get irritated and he was swearing in front of me, which mad me feel like i should've gone to a different customer service area. When he asked for help the lady helping him, had also started to swear to him and had been calling him names. Which i thought was very inappropriate to do in front of me. It took about 30 mins to get the exchange done. The workers need more training and better customer service experience.

I placed an online order and chose same day pick up option, since I was in the area, I decided to go pick it up. I went down to customer service and noticed an employee nearby tidying up an endcap, we made eye contact and she continued to do what she was doing, after a few minutes pass by and her not asking if I need assistance, I walked over and asked if she worked in customer service and if so could she please assist me. She immediately had an attitude, she could of been having a bad day, no big deal it happens. She asked for my number to pull up my order and she couldn't find it in the system and said I would need to come back tomorrow. TOMORROW? I already paid for my item, could I go find it in the store? Carol got even more rude and said "no absolutely not" I asked politely to speak to a manager and she said "It doesn't matter" Really? My order and your customer service doesn't matter? I asked again, please can I speak to your manager? Again, Carol said "No" I had to call the store from my phone and ask to speak to a manager who wasn't much better than Carol. The manager did call back and explain that in the fine print it states anything ordered after 3pm needs to be picked up next day. It was my mistake for not catching that, but the rudeness of employees there was unacceptable. JCPenny, you lost my business.

The manager did not unlock the doors allowing entrance from or to the mall until 10:10. People were standing outside looking into the glass for 10 minutes waiting to shop. Very bad for business!

Sitting in the photo department now, we've been checked in for our appointment for 35 minutes without any communication. Prepaid session or I'd leave. Employees are nice, but not working together and everyone is frazzled. Don't make an appointment here.
