Went Saturday 5/5/18, a nice night to eat on the deck. The food is so delicious, everyone had a great meal. I had the beet salad, crab cakes, salmon and for desert the creme brulee w fresh fruit. Everything was just perfect. A friend had the honey garlic wings for an app, they we're the best I ever had. We sat on the deck at 5:30 along with about 20+ other tables the service was slow but we didn't mind it was a nice time enjoying a meal w friends. And the food came out hot and perfect. If you want a quick meal go to MacDonald's. If you want a great meal where the kitchen puts out quality food, no matter how busy then go to the Tavern on the Hill. I've never been disappointed.

I've never had a bad meal here. The view is amazing, the staff are great, and the food is very very good. I suggest, even if you've never tried it, that you upgrade your salad to have roasted beets oranges and the balsamic reduction. It is terrific! I have brought many friends to the Tavern. It's a wonderful place to bring a guest!

The food was good, the hostess and waitress treated us like we below their standards as if we could not afford to eat at your restaurant. Our bill was over $140.00 and had no problem paying in cash, very upset of how my family was treated so poorly at what I was told was a great place to eat and has great atmosphere. The best part of our visit was the amazing view from your patio.

Meals were beautiful to see & delicious to taste; our server was hospitable, professional, & added to the experience; view and ambiance was unique. PERFECT BIRTHDAY DINNER FOR MY HUSBAND!

OK overall. Food tastes good, gives you those "home style" vibes. But I would go elsewhere for a stake dinner, simply because the meal-to-price ration is bad. It's overpriced for no apparent reason, and gives a feeling of a slightly drunk senior retreat spot. Service speed is average. Mean size is definitely not destined for a hard-working healthy male in his 40's, unless that dude is on a diet. Probably won't come for dinner again, unless someone else's treat. But I do give the place some extra credit for good service, and although the food qty wasn't there for me - the taste was.
