My wife was very ill for four out of the five years we were married. We lost everything during this time due to medical bills. My credit tanked. Within a month of her death, the engine in my old van blew and I had to get a new car. NO financial institution, including the one I have had since the early 1980's would grant me a loan. TEBO did. I have had only one issue with them where they contacted me. It was my fault, I forgot to activate an automatic payment. The representative was not only kind and courteous, she worked with me cheerfully, even joking with me. I was still in deep mourning over my wife's passing and she cheered me up. For those who have rated TEBO with one or two stars, I wonder who was the uncooperative one? The representative even joked with me about moving back to Ohio (I grew up there) so I could take advantage of more TEBO financial opportunities. If I didn't love living 6 blocks from the ocean so much, she might have convinced me. THANK YOU TEBO! I was, and will be for a while, in desperate financial straights. You, alone, helped me.

I do appreciate this company for financing me when no one else would however. I HATE when I have to work something out with them about payment VERY RUDE. love to call all your references (even if you set up a payment schedule) Ask them why & they say because they could not contact you. That's a lie I just talk to them the day before!

I have had my loan for 2 1/2 years. And I have not had any problems. I do make my payments on time every time so maybe that's why I have had a good experience with them unlike many others who are criticizing them. One time due to extreme weather conditions I made my payment 4 days late. I called them to tell them why it was going to be late and they were very nice about it and that was that. It's when they have to track you down that it makes them think you are intentionally dodging them and then the get more persistent. 

If you need a car, it's worth the high interest rates if you know you can make the payments on time or early.

HATE THIS PLACE...We dont have the money for a payment and they call everyone in my family trying to find me i dont answer the phone cuz they will call you everything in the book but a white boy...this place is a joke
