I do not recommend to use Tekniton for any repair. The Mullion door flap failed (cheap plastic part broke) on my expensive 3-year old Samsung refrigerator (we will never purchase anything Samsung again). After trying to deal with Samsung's badly done website, we called them and they recommended Tekniton for service. We called Tekniton and they wanted $195 labor to replace the French door flap costing $88. We were desperate and said OK. The repair took 5 minutes. I told the technician that I was going to write a bad review explaining the overpricing, and after a discussion with someone back at Tekniton, he ended up charging $150 for the visit, plus $88 for the part. There are more responsible repair shops out there. Don't deal with Tekniton for anything.

Made an appointment on Monday for Wednesday. When I made the appointment, I told the representative point blank that this is second company Samsung has sent out. The first company said, it is not a power supply issue and the panel needs to be replaced, told to me as well as to samsung. The rep says yes, they have checked with samsung and the part has been ordered. It will be there for the technician when he comes to repair on Wednesday. Lo and behold, voicemail on Tuesday night, that panel will not make it in time and we will need to reschedule to Friday. Friday arrives, I double check with customer service if the technician will come out today, they are. I also check if they have the parts, the rep says they do. Nothing to worry about right? Technician arrives, I tell him someone will let him in a few minutes. Technician leaves. My friend that is supposed to let him in calls and tells him to come back. He says he waited 20 minutes and had to leave! I have the screen shots V*******..you called at 3:16, I let my friend know at 3:23 via text to let you in, it's one flight of stairs... Anyways, my friend texts me a few minutes later..guess what, they won't be able to fix it today...does anyone want to guess why? On their invoice....it clearly states "Insp. and need panel" Please let this be one of the situations where you respond to the customer...i would love to make your company famous for their sheer incompetence on the internet. We have been having issues with out Samsung TV blacking out. After 3 visits from the cable company changing all of their equipment, Samsung on line support 8+ times in the past month, I finally requested an on site technician visit. The TV is under warranty and Samsung arranged with Tekniton in North Highlands. I received a call to schedule the appointment within the 48 hours they stated, and the appointment was scheduled quickly. Their technician Vasile was professional, courteous, expeditious and so far it appears has resolved the problem. We are satisfied at this point with the service this company has provided.

After 2 days of my request to repair my dishwasher and they did not call back or send a technician, finally I called them to follow up my ticket (!!) and the operator started to ask me what was wrong with the appliance!!!! Like a new case, she started to ask me all the same questions again after 48 hours and when I asked her why? She rudely answered that you should tell me all these again in order for me to solve the problem!! I do not recommend to work with this service center! Go find one of your reliable local shops!
