About

We are a Reform Jewish synagogue in Snellville, Georgia.

Story

Welcome to our warm and caring family at Temple Beth David. Our founders made history when they established Gwinnett County’s first Jewish congregation in 1981. Today we proudly endeavor to make teachings of our Jewish heritage relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.

Today Temple Beth David offers a balance between Judaism's rich traditions and modern day realities. It provides a foundation for our spiritual, intellectual, and social needs. We adhere to egalitarian mainstream Reform Jewish practices. Warmth of song, prayer, sermons, learning, social events, and community service add meaning to our lives. Clergy are available for all life cycle events.

Temple Beth David's members include individuals, couples and families from all walks of Jewish life. Some Jews come from more traditional backgrounds. Others are interfaith couples, individuals searching for answers, or those rediscovering their religion.

We invite you to connect with your Jewish roots by visiting us at Temple Beth David. You can experience the spirit of our community by attending Friday night services. By contacting us and setting up a time to meet, we can look at specific ways our temple can fulfill your needs.

Temple Beth David provides a warm and welcoming environment to all. What's great about the Temple is there are many ways to be involved in synagogue life. The Men's club and Sisterhood are both very active and their is a robust youth program. Educational opportunities are available for both children and adults taught by a wonderful staff. The Friday night musical Sabbath service is a wonderful way to end your week.

Welcoming, friendly small temple. It's like everyone is one big extended family. Something for everyone -- sisterhood, men's Club, youth group, adult education, and very robust Friday night services. Love the music and singing! You won't be disappointed if you come visit.
