Gorgeous, clean, friendly. Yes, the missionaries wanted to talk about the teachings but consider where we are. They were very nice and there was no pressure to stay and talk. Very informative and the Tabernacle, home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, is beautiful! Amazing pipe organ and acoustics! We didn't get to see the choir practice but watched and listened to a very talented gentleman play the organ. Temple Square is a lovely place to take photos! On that note, they allowed photos and videos inside and out with the exception of during performances. We didn't get to see it all but it was a good short visit.

Religion aside, this is an immaculately kept peaceful refuge from the quotidian. Please come walk the grounds and enjoy the flowers and beauty of the area. Salt Lake City would not exist if not for this Temple and the area around it. You will feel peace there. Peace comes from God.

Grounds are extremely well kept and beautiful. Everything is very organized. Music is amazing!!! History shared is fascinating. And the Sister Missionaries are so kind. You can get a tour of Temple Square in some 50 different languages! Amazing! This needs to be a definite on everyone's bucket list.

This place has the most amazing atmosphere during Christmas. The lights, the temple, the reflection pool, the fountains are all staples every time we visit downtown SLC during Christmas time. If we can get tickets we go to a concert as well. All activities are free unless you decide to throw coins into the fountains. You have to provide your own coins. It's next to great shopping and other things to do as well.

Magical in any season. Free organ concerts and tours. Visitor center is wonderful. The Winter has Christmas lights starting in spring gorgeous flowers. You can get a garden tour.
