A trooper wanted to pull me over. In Florida we're told to wait till we're in a well lit populated place as a single woman. I went 45 mph in the right hand lane on I-40 with my turn signal on and he called 5 more cars. Aimed a gun at my head yelling hands up. I came out of the car dressed to the nines like a Sunday School teacher. Black dress pants, flat ironed hair, mary jane shoes, blue dress top and he doesn't ask questions and have a civil conversation. In front of all these men standing around who can see I'm reasonable to talk to, He still continues to yell at me, orders me to turn around and put my hands on the car then behind my back. Hand cuffs me! Puts me in the back of his car. They leave all my bank cards and driver's license I had in my hand while I'm locked in a car, on top of my Cadillac with my door wide open and my cell phone! Ridiculous! I'm related to half of Crossville up here avoiding Hurricane Irma. I had no weapon on me. I'm a 50 year old white female. If he had slipped with his finger my head would have been blown off! I have a personalized plate with my first name on it going 45 with turn signal on to next exit. And I get out of the car dressed like a librarian. Do you handcuft me at that point? Use common sense. We're civilians too. You know I was %100 behind cops in this whole lives matter issue. I'm here 3 extra days waiting on wheels and I just got my car out of the shop that same day, paying almost $1500 for sensors, and tires too and he's saying I should be grateful he didnt blow my tires to stop me. You're not helping yourself here. I honestly loved officers, trusted them, believed they were smart, wise and kind before I had my life in the hands of...scary my life was in the balance. This white lady thinks now maybe blm has a point. I was denied the respect I deserved all along. We are not pushed around like caged hog tied animals as guilty (excessive force) till proven innocent. Our founders made a point over this. Where are we? This isn't American. Unreasonable behavior. After seeing his level of ability in assessing and making choices, I'm believing now if I had not went to a well lit area and had others around to witness the event I may not have been alive to tell my side here. Then he's trying to justify his behavior. You could have been someone deciding it's a day they'd like to kill a cop! Hmmm so if that were the intention by watching my activity (now driving like an 80 year old granny)....instead of doing it on a dark side of the interstate in the woods, I'm going to pull into a bright populated Exxon station....with property camera's? And five squad cars surrounding me before I even turn off my car?

Thanks for all the great things you do. Like today, Nov 4. While I was driving east on the I 40, one of your officers had stopped and was changing a flat tire for an old man who wasn't strong enough to turn the wrench. This happened this afternoon at 12:40 at marker 260. These are the acts of kindness we all need to show. Keep up the good work
