1st time eating here. Very convenient location, quick parking. Had regular size orange chicken with white race and mixed vegetables. Everything tasted okay. Friendly cashier who delivered food to table. Clean eating area. Served in plastic bowls with plastic silverware. Nothing fancy here. Overall, convenient location, not over priced, recommend this place for quick lunch.
I remember when Teriyaki madness came to this location over ten years ago. I distinctly remember ordering a steak teriyaki salad of some sort. The clamshell consisted of thinly sliced, decent tasting strips of teriyaki steak...on top of a mound of iceberg lettuce. That was enough to put me off coming back here, at least until today. I was coming off working nights and needed a late afternoon lunch and Teriyaki Madness came to mind. It's on one of my normal routes to and from work, so why not try it again? The space is functional, to say the least. There's a mix of high and normal tables in the very large space, as well as a table for a large group that seats up to eight people on leather roller chairs at the far west side of the space. The floor is a simple reddish brown concrete slab, while the ceiling is a solid black with florescent fixtures spaces throughout. While strange looking, I did appreciate the foam sound dampeners spaced throughout the ceiling area, even though some appeared to be slowly peeling away from age or other unknown degradation. I opted for a steak teriyaki bowl with vegetables and fried rice with a side of edamame on this visit. The bowl was out to me within 10 minutes and I quickly began to tuck in. The steak was well seasoned and tender, I'd definitely come back for this alone. The edamame similarly was good - it had the right combination of firm texture and slight saltiness expected of it. What utterly failed to meet expectations was the fried rice. The consistency was soggy throughout, nowhere close to the light, soy flavored fluffy rice texture I imagine fried rice to have. The scrambled egg was the only real discernable addition to the rice and was not homogenously integrated to the dish at all. At one point I pulled out a huge chunk of egg it had to be more than one egg's worth of scramble and extracted similar large hunks throughout the meal. This is probably some of the worst fried rice I've had anywhere. I cannot recommend this to anyone coming here - get normal rice, vegetables, or try the noodles. I really wish the food was better here - the overall ambiance is pretty nice, between the abundance of natural light supplied by the large windows and the low noise level overall. Even though it's close to home, I'm looking elsewhere for a good teriyaki related meal in the future. Just not worth it to me. Vegetarian options: You can get a bowl of food with just vegetables. They also offer tofu. Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs available for use. There were children in the space when I visited. They seemed happy as they noisily ran through the space. Parking: There's plenty of free parking along the front of the space. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an entrance entrance that is wheelchair accessible via a ramp. Dietary restrictions: Bowls are customizable to meet your dietary needs.
I love this place, if I am in the mood for fried rice and orange chicken this is the only option take. Usually my experience here is quick service and good quality of food for what I order. Ive had one order not get made right before and the worker fixed it without any hassle also I can understand every worker here so if problems arise communication is not a issue.
Good food, crab Rangoon needs more cheese, some had none in it. Lady at counter was being judgmental about us ordering 12 of them, never experienced that before. Not sure if we will be returningFood: 3/5
I've passed this place on my trips to Bettendorf many times. Stopped in this wknd, glad I did. Tasty orange chicken and noodles. Decent egg rolls. Place is BYOB, and attached to a liquor store.... So you know. Grab a cold beer and eat some chicken and noodles. I'll definitely go back
Their sauce tasted so good and overall food was healthy. Price seemed reasonable for the quantity. Would love to visit the place again. Parking: Enough parking area.
Good food! Fast and Fresh! I got the Spicy Chicken bowl with veggies and husband got Spicy Chicken with noodles. His order was incorrect but they fixed it with no problem. Very good and tasty food and filling!
The food is dang good and the prices are great too. Parking is a little wack but worth it.Food: 5/5
Food was too sweet. It wasn't bad it just wasn't worth what I paid for it. Maybe I'm biased because I was stationed on Okinawa and had plenty of good yakisoba, wife and daughter liked it, but it's a no from me dawg.
Ordered at work. Crab rangoons were hard and small Not worth $4.50!!! The chicken was good. I dont think ill try the actual restaurant or order at work. Just nothing special for $12.
