Mike Green is now the mechanic and manager of this establishment and I'm so glad he is! He's an amazing mechanic...he is knowledgeable, thorough and always fair in his pricing. He studies everything he can get his hands on about all makes and models of vehicle and never fails to come through with the solution to the issues at hand.  He is straightforward, he explains the situation in terms even I could understand (I know very little about the workings of my vehicle) and he's even worked with me on payment when I was having a little financial trouble. I've known him long enough that I've taken 2 of my cars to him (even driving many, many miles to get to his shop) and my parents and now my husband and step-daughter are customers, too.
Mike can be abrupt, he doesn't sugar coat anything and he doesn't tolerate fools, but he is as honest as they come. He doesn't pad the bill or do work that doesn't need to be done. He explains everything, down to the smallest detail of what's happening with your vehicle.  I love that!  He never fails to complete the work in a timely fashion, either, and I've never been disappointed. 

Along with repairs, he also does installations of audio equipment and installed an awesome system in my car! I've had no issues with it, it's beautifully installed and sounds like a million bucks!

Knowledgeable, and they really work with you. Out of all of the places I've gone to I've never been more happy with the service provided to me. I highly recommend coming here. Mike really knows what he's doing, and he's pretty funny. Just a bonus! But really they deserve more than a five star rating. I've finally found a mechanic I can trust!

1st thing I can say about Mike @ Tesinsky is WOW GREAT HONEST MAN! He has been taking care of my mom for years now and myself over the past few years. I love that I can call him when my truck is acting up, describe what it's doing and he either tells me a quick fix or to bring it in. Who does that anymore? If you are a thin skin type of person... Yes you may get your feelings hurt (if you act like a millennial) cause he calls it for exactly what it is. I love honesty and can handle the truth so Mike is my mechanic for life!! PS OUTSTANDING QUALITY WORK!!

I have been taking my car to Tesinsky since 2000  and have always had a great experience. Mike is an honest and trustworthy mechanic. He does a very good job and he knows how to diagnose any problem you may have with your vehicle. Also he does not overcharge or do unnecessary repairs. If you’re looking for a place to take your automobile then I highly recommend Tesinsky.

I found Tesinsky back when the Tesinsky brothers ran it. My Mom was taking her car there already and told me about it. Since then my brother, my business partner, and I all take our cars to Tesinsky. When Mike G. took it over a few years ago, we were naturally curious as to how he would run this business. The fact that we al take our cars there after this much time is a testament to how well he has taken the reigns of this auto shop. The new owner does tend to be a bit direct when dealing with customers, but, once you figure out that he is just brutally honest and, his main concern is to get past formalities and get your car fixed as efficiently and economically as possible, one tends to really appreciate him. Unlike many mechanics that hem and haw with useless details and unrelated information, trying to get you to spend more, Mike gets down to brass tacks and tells you like it is. No hand holding to make you feel good--it's about efficiency and doing a good job. There have been times I have had flats and he plugged them for free. I had a headlight out once. I had the part already from the store, but he installed it for free. He has always done his best to get parts for all our cars with warranty in case something happened, so we'd be covered. Lastly, I would like to mention that he once had a young, male helper who made a mistake on my wheel that could have resulted in severe problems. I noticed a strange noise on the way home form the shop. When I got home I called him and he told me not to drive it until he could come to my home. He left the shop that evening and drove to my house and was able to jack it up and fix it in my driveway. I do not know of any other mechanic that would do such a thing. All of us drive cars that are older (and paid for), which means we cannot escape having to deal with repairs every year of some sort. However, Mike at Tesinsky is quite possibly the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic we have ever encountered. I will take my car to him as long as he remains in business. My advice to anyone new to Tesinsky: take your car in and just give a brief description of what's happening. Let him determine what it is--that's his job. He's a former Marine and he tends to be serious for the most part about getting things done  right the first time. Then, just let him do what needs to be done and you will be satisfied. If not for some reason, tell him directly and he'll make it right. I recommend Tesinsky Automotive without the slightest hesitation.
