Texas de Brazil is an authentic Brazilian-American Churrascaria (steakhouse) that combines the cuisine of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas.

Story

Our story begins in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Living the cattle rancher’s life and feasting in the traditional rodizio style native to this region, one of the partners had visions of bringing this culture north to the United States. The unique concept offers diners a parade of meats and an extravagant seasonal salad area. After years of hoping and dreaming, this rodizio vision became a reality. The destination of choice was no other than the cattle man's land ... Texas. Settling in Texas, it was apt that this unique style brought from Brazil be combined with the hospitality that is indigenous to the lone star state. Combining the culture and feast of Brazil with the service and class of the states, Texas de Brazil emerged. Texas de Brazil is family owned and operated and continues to expand both domestically and internationally to bring the Brazilian Steakhouse dining experience to new and exciting geographical locations.

Terrible. First of all, this is NOT a typical Brazilian steakhouse. Brazilians and South Americans grill the meat slowly, always careful not to burn the outside. Here, the meat is cooked over huge flames. No, no, very bad The result is a constant parade of charred meat.. And they won't let you alone. The salad bar is plain miserable, and missing a lot of items you'd regularly see at at similar high end priced restaurants. No desserts or beverages are included and you pay extra. Service is attentive, but still doesn't make up for the high prices and average quality food they offer. Honestly, you'll eat better and smarter at Area Code 55, or at The Knife, a block away, much cheaper. I can only conclude this restaurant is a disaster and will not even consider coming back.

I recently took my niece and her boyfriend to this restaurant, and tend to agree with all the "not so good reviews". I have no issues when it comes to paying top price for a good dinner, but with all due honesty, this establishment doesn't meet the quality expectations that the menu prices reflect. After reading the reviews, it's more than evident someone in corporate offices replies generically to all customers complaints. Out of the claimed ""50 plus items"" featured at the salad bar, I could only rescue 2 or 3, barely fresh and tasty. Shrimp salad was extremely spicy, salamis and cheese, hardly any variety, greasy and not so tasty. Believe me, I know what real salami and cheese is. There was NO variety of breads as they also claim. And BTW, who on earth will come to a restaurant to eat bread? Meat is thin sliced like cold cuts...an insult to steak and real meat connoisseurs. So, if someone in management is reading this review, I sincerely ask to answer straight and not generically. There are definitely issues with food quality affecting customers, which need to be properly reviewed, and unless corrective action is taken, many clients will not return.

Nice location and beautiful atmosphere. The salad bar is pretty decent. It's slightly overpriced and the meats selection varies. Can get boring after a while. But if you frequent regularly you can purchase a discount card(some restrictions) and use to get half off. The manger is super nice and makes you and your guest feel special.

Nothing out of this world. Meats burned on the outside and raw in the middle. Brazilian BBQ, not even remotely close. American welding torch grilled, definitely. Salad bar very poor. Prices very high. Any individual with knowledge of real grilled meat will not frequent this place again. But of course, in the US, a rubber sole with ketchup will pass as the best BBQ in town. Don't fall for this trap.

My first time trying this restaurant and I agree with recent reviews pointing out average food when compared to what the customer is charged. I expected the cuts to be thick and evenly cooked, but it never happened. The salad bar, lackluster and uninspiring, with nothing worth trying. Service was allright but too fake. Beverages and desserts are not included on the menu, so at the end I paid considerable amount of money for nearly nothing worth giving credit. There are better and more reasonably prices restaurants nearby featuring great meat and steaks,.
