Reviews

Need to revise paperwork listing requirements for obtaining a permit for a teenage driver. Nowhere  on the documents does it state that the bills must be in the name of the parent or guardian who accompanies the minor to the DMV. Instructions on the paperwork just state that the bills that are provided need to show proof of residence. We have made 3 trips to obtain a permit due to poorly written and articulated instruction.

I must take the time to brag on this group of women today. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. I couldn’t help but overhear a couple things going on around me such as a man who was unable to renew his license due to poor vision. Sandra carefully explained to him his next steps and the gentleman was able to leave with clear direction. I, being a nurse understand that those who work with the general public do not always get the ‘shout outs’ when they are doing a great job, but are always quick to receive the negative when others are disappointed or upset. Customer service is a difficult and these ladies are doing a fabulous job!

Extremely rude and unprofessional employees. The woman behind desk six with the ridiculous pigtail buns needs to work on her customer service skills. She was rushing through and made errors on I important documents that I needed for the drivers test which resulted in me having to return to the office to have everything corrected. Absolutely ridiculous.

Extremely bad experience. Very rude very unprofessional. Should be embarrassed having such bad staff. The rules are absolutely ridiculous. Having to have two bills. I only have one. I have wasted my time and was spoken to very horribly. I will rather go an hour out of my way to the Huntsville one.

Just wanted to say that I went to this particular DPS office today and everything went smoothly. Not as bad as most people make it out to be and the people were nice!
