The owner took 3+ hours to highlight and cut my hair.  She turned it ORANGE.  I ended up having to go home with color on my hair and wash it out myself to not hit the 4 hour mark and get home later than 9pm.  This was after the new management took over.  Will never step foot in there again for any reason, I drive to Louisiana now to a competent and experienced stylist.

Please note that the salon has been under new ownership since July 2014. It is a completely different salon setting and a new group of stylists. Please do not judge the salon on reviews prior to this time. Call and get a consultation from one of the stylists on staff now and experience a relaxing salon environment with talented and friendly stylists. Thank you.

Don't believe everything you read on YELP. 
I know for a FACT that these bad reviews are old, they were generated from the salon when it was named TANGLES SALON over 2 years ago. 
The salon is now TEXAS TANGLES SALON and it under new ownership now for 2 YEARS.The salon has been totally remodeled and even expanded to double the old size.
Don't let old, negative reviews keep you from coming in and getting you hair done up RIGHT by some of the most experienced stylists in the Baytown/Mount Belvieu area.
Hopefully YELP we see the error of their ways and correct this....unfair to have to fight ancient reviews.....

AWESOME SALON!!!!

Very friendly staff (Stacey, Meagan, Misty and Ashley) warm atmosphere and an all around great experience

Go see Ashley for your all your needs - she is absolutely AMAZING!!!

The salon was full of some pretty trashy looking employees, most of all Misty, the one I had the misfortune to be scheduled with.Before we could discuss what I wanted done to my hair, Misty disappeared outside and sat on the front sidewalk and began smoking and left me in the chair. Meanwhile she stayed outside to play a game on her phone and smoke yet another cigarette. I was about to leave when she came in and told me how wonderful she is with color. BEWARE** This woman has destroyed my color and damaged the condition of my hair. I sat in that place for six hours, with her reassuring me it was going to kook great. Well it doesn't. To make it even worse, she charged me an outrageous amount
