Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Stow, OH is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

Reviews

As a chain restaurant, it definitely lives up to what, I think, one would expect from it. That is - consistency. Prices are fair, they have never over or under cooked the meats or fish. Servers are always welcoming. Drink menu is fun & fresh! I do wish there were more seafood options but that's just me. And with the rewards card, you get free chips and salsa!  After 150 points, you can get a free entree with the rewards. In short (too late) they are reliable for an easy meal!

We had an early dinner and our server John was very courteous and very prompt with everything. He made sure me and my family had a good meal! The food was also great, although I didn't really care for the mashed potatoes. We just moved in the area and we will definitely return!

So my first time in here was tonight and frankly everything was bad. I got shrimp and chicken and the chicken was super dry and the shrimp were near inedible. They came with mashed potatoes. I'm pretty sure those potatoes are made of a glue based paste. For a drink I got their bubble tea. It was 5 bucks and came in a bar glass (significantly smaller than a regular glass) and was easily 75% ice. I had trouble even getting to the bubble parts because all I could get were ice chunks. Then the grand finale was the part where they screwed up the bill. I had gone with a friend. Our grand total was 38 dollars. We asked to have our stuff billed separately and they came back with individual checks for 34 dollars each. Clearly a screw up. We asked to have it fixed and they still proved incapable of billing us for our individual orders and just split the bill in half between us. Not wanting further hassle we just went with it. Of course both of us now have bank statements showing 34 dollar charges. So yeah..... Never again will I be eating at this establishment.

I didn’t ask for the wonderful waitress Stephanie so I got sub par waitress (being generous) and on top of being obviously fake (you could tell with her voice pitch and her attitude) she messed up our bill. We asked for it to be separate and all together it was $38 and some change so when she separated it we both got charged $34 and when we told her she still just split it in half (my food was less expensive then my friends) but at that point we just didn’t even want to try and correct her anymore. Also the food was extremely salty on my end and my friend got the shrimp and chicken and it was over cooked and dry. It was served with mashed potatoes that were basically edible glue. Not a good experience at all. Luckily it was my first bad experience there but for my friend it was his first time going there and he will not be joining me again. Such a shame. Ask for Stephanie.

We got the rib special for $12.99 and had salad and fries.  Lots of food and the ribs were well worth the price.  A full meal and left full.  Service was very good as well.   Will be back
