I like the amazing garage sale very much. Of course I also don't mind paying more for things that are worth more. Judy is fantastic, really a pleasure to work with. She let me buy some things on a payment plan, which enabled me to actually get some really nice gifts for my family.

Not a great experience. I was warned that the owner was a bit "indifferent" but I had a mid-century rug to sell and figured she was my best bet. After asking me to send photos to ensure "pristine condition" My rug was accepted. Wow! I drove from Fort Collins to Boulder only to learn that my authentic Rya rug was going on the floor in a main traffic area? Apparently the owner simply wanted my vintage rug to "decorate" her store!!!! Really bad business - shame on you. I received no contract and no agreed upon sale price upon drop off. I left the rug against my better judgement. Lesson learned. Avoid this store. The prices are high and the owner is deceptive.

I enthusiastically recommend The Amazing Garage Sale without hesitation as a consignment operation is head and shoulders above any in the entire region. Assistance in helping me downsize twice was invaluable, providing expertise and effective advice as I sifted through several decades of foreign travel and generations of antiques and curios. Very uninviting, overpriced and deceiving. The owner went out of her way to let me know my child needed to be managed before I had even gotten through the front door. (We had 4 adults and one child, who I was holding, so I'm pretty sure we could manage) The woman then continued to follow us around the store watching every move and continued to make comments. Several items that were listed online as being for sale were nowhere in sight. She said they all had just sold. Yet months later those exact items are still listed as being available. Pretty sure she just decorates her website and Craigslist with photos of things she doesn't actually have anymore in an attempt to lure people in. What was actually there was overpriced and nothing spectacular.
