We loved it. It exceeded our expectations. Great historical perspective of his life and work, plus a wonderful collection of samples and items from his life reflecting his thoughts and ideas - which shed new light on the importance of his influence - beyond the pop art we’re all familiar with. Gained new appreciation for the depth of his talent and vision. He was truly talented and at the forefront of his craft. Also really found the changing exhibit on the Iranian artist stunning. Keep up the good work of expanding the public’s knowledge of Warhol and introducing us to current new artists as well. Bravo!

If you are in the area it is a must. The building itself is very modern looking and multiple levels of great exhibits. The museum really does a great job taking you through his work at specific times in his life. They even have a wonderful kids area for learning and creating art. Got some cool Warhol shirts for my kids screen printed right there.

A very fun and comprehensive collection with interactive elements for people of all ages. A must see in Pittsburgh if you like art, history and or culture! Quick tip! There is a vintage photo booth in the lobby and basement and they take cash only, it’s three dollars and there is an ATM across the street from the museum in the parking garage. The gift shop will give you exact change if you need it! It’s a great keepsake, and of course they have some very fun souvenirs in the gift shop too. One of my favorite floors was actually the solo exhibition "Farhad Moshiri: Go West" - I imagine you could see a lot of great modern works at this museum throughout the year.

Great crafting area, but man some of that stuff was weird. Art is what you can get away with, indeed. I liked the earliest works, but the video and later works simply didn't speak to me at all - too solipsistic. Nice staff, though. Bottom line, check it out online first.

Decided to do a day trip to Pittsburgh and of course the Andy Warhol Museum was on my list. The museum is very modern and presents his work in a multiple floor segment based on the beginning the middle and the end so you can truly see how he progressed and grew as an artist. The staff is very laid back and you are allowed to take pictures without a Flash and book bags have to be put in a locker on site you have to use a quarter to get the key. All in all it was a very fun trip and I would definitely go then
