Seriously. Wow. I grew up in Brooklyn and this feels so real, I can hear the gulls and smell the ocean. I write plenty of reviews and I rarely find myself lost for words, but this place is truly special. It's not just a bagel joint either, they have plenty of small, hole in the wall bodega specials and delicacies. The waitress and host were amazingly attentive and cheerful, and were the only none authentic aspect, in a very positive way. Brooklyn delis aren't usually known for there customer service. When you come here, do yourself a favor and have an everything bagel with lox. You won't regret it. It

Excellent sandwiches and service. I had the traditional Ruben and Matzo ball soup. They have a deli in front where you can walk up and purchase cookies and deli meats and other favorite menu items. The service was speedy and the server never let our drink hit less than halfway.

Truly incredible food that comes out of a modest restaurant. The pastrami sandwhich is so good and the matzo ball soup is to die for. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they take pride in their work.

Terrible customer service from the owner. The older man with grey hair at the deli counter is always extremely rude and just treats people like they’re not worth his time when they’re coming in to spend money. This is the second or third time we’ve come in, picked up food, and he sent us home with uncooked beef bacon when we ordered cooked. Something happens every single time my family comes to pick things up and at this point it almost seems like it’s intentional. If it happened once, I would understand and not think much of it. The fact that it happens every. single. time. is absolutely ridiculous. I’m sure there’s other places that have great food as well and treat people better. It’s a shame, but the owner clearly does not know how to treat customers right. Skip the hassle (and the possibility of raw food, incorrect orders) and go somewhere else. We’ve been a customer here here for years but time to find someplace else.

This place was great the service was phenomenal. We got the reuben and a pastrami and brisket sandwich to share for three people it was a lot of food. They make their own thousand island to put on the sandwiches. The Rubin had huge piles of meat and sauerkraut on it and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone.
